In 1681, King Charles issued a Royal Warrant authorising the building of the Royal Hospital Chelsea to care for those ‘broken by age or war’. Today it is the most prestigious care home in the country.

Grosvenor Contracts recently won a competitive tender to provide laundry & dry cleaning services for The Royal Hospital Chelsea. We now service both the sheltered accommodation and care home for over 200 Chelsea Pensioners.

We provide 24 hour turnaround for a variety of laundered items including linen and personal clothing which needs to be sorted, packed and delivered back to individual pensioners, we process around 15,000 items per month. Providing laundry for ex-servicemen means our finishing has to be top quality, all shirts are ironed by hand and delivered on hangers looking crisp and pristine.
